Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use Israel Records, submit attempts and view records.
Standard and scope
We are working toward Israeli Standard 5568, Part 1, based on WCAG 2.0 at AA level, including the Israeli adaptations. This statement covers the Israel Records website in Hebrew and English. The site is digital-only; we do not offer a public physical service location.
Accessibility features
The site includes a keyboard skip link, labeled forms, descriptive alternative text for many meaningful images, page language and direction, visible focus indicators, and responsive layouts. We are continuing to test these features across pages, devices and assistive technologies.
Known limitations
Some certificate artwork and printable PDF files are image-based and may not expose all details to assistive technology. Some older images or third-party content may still need better alternatives or captions. These areas remain under review; we cannot yet guarantee every path works with every assistive device.
Need help or found a barrier?
Use the contact form and select Accessibility. Describe the page or action, the problem and, if useful, your device or assistive technology. You may also ask for information or a document in an accessible alternative format. Do not send passwords or sensitive medical information. We will review the request and reply to the email you enter; no fixed response time is promised.
